I have been a costumer since 1992. I started sewing when I joined a small renaissance faire group and had to make my own clothing. It was a struggle, but I loved the results and that was how I caught the costuming bug.
Since that time, I have been involved in the Society for Creative Anachronisms, Renaissance Faires, The Dickens Christmas Fair, and more. I have created costumes from the 11th to the 19th centuries (with my current favorite being the 18th century) and I have fun doing them all.
Our goal is to offer you things that WE would want to buy at prices we would want to pay.

I started costuming at the age of twelve when I got involved in Renaissance Faires. Since then, I have expanded my love of costuming to all time periods (including fantasy) and have created many different outfits from many different eras.
I especially love researching and collecting images of historical clothing and also finding the supplies to recreate them which is how I started working at Renaissance Fabrics. I joined in 2006 as a buyer and have had fun with it ever since.
I love my job as a buyer because I get to find great supplies to help you sew your historical costumes. If you need something special, let me know and I will try to locate it for you!
